Robert Hew is a proud graduate of Campion College, who went on to read Law at Magdalen College, Oxford, received an MBA from Harvard Business School, and returned to Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and received an additional law degree.
He worked for the Boston Consulting Group, an international strategy consulting firm, and later co-founded Icon International Inc., a New York-based barter-finance company which dealt primarily with the media, hotel, airline, and close-out industries. It was eventually bought by Omnicom, a Fortune 500 media conglomerate.
He is an avid SCUBA diver and genealogist. Since 2012 has been actively involved with the Chinese Benevolent Association, primarily with the Restoration of the Chinese Cemetery and the digitization of its records. He has served as President of the CBA since 2018.
